XpertTech looks to hire 30 Application developers

Saturday, February 18th, 2012

BOSTON, Feb. 16, 2012 – XpertTech announced today that the company will be looking to hire 30 mobile application developers on all platforms for a large project they won in the San Francisco area. XpertTech is striving to have these 30 mobile app developers ready to design, code, and create within 30 days.

“This is a substantial undertaking knowing that expert mobile developers are becoming a scarcity as the job market consumes these talented professionals,” says Matt Ramos, Manager of Recruiting for XpertTech.  XpertTech knows that this is just one of the many challenges they will overcome as they look to be the leader in mobile app development resources.  XpertTech is positioning themselves as a leader of job growth in mobile development, as they continually tailor their projects towards some of the most prominent innovators in the mobile space.

A TechNet research paper by Dr. Michael Mandel, senior Fellow, Mack Center for Technological Innovation at The Wharton School in Philadelphia, says that in less than five years the mobile software industry has added 466,000 jobs, 311,000 of them at companies developing apps.

“82% of our clients have said they plan on developing a mobile app in 2012,” said Joe Budzienski, Executive Vice President.  “As an app fanatic myself, it’s amazing how quickly this industry has evolved; the possibilities are infinite.  To me this is just as exciting as the ‘invention’ of the internet.  Whether you have just graduated college and have been developing in your dorm room between classes, or have worked as a senior engineer who realized app development was your true calling, we want to speak with you.  The only thing we ask is you live, breathe, and eat APPS!”

XpertTech is currently utilizing all resources at their disposal to discover these talented individuals.  The positions include iOS, Android, and Windows among other mobile app platforms. There are several additional job openings within the organization that range from Javascript Development to Salesforce Administration.

In an economy struggling to pull out of the recession, the hiring of 30 permanent positions is an optimistic victory. “Innovative technologies such as mobile apps will continue to generate thousands of jobs.  It’s up to us to keep pushing the limits of technology.  The more we innovate, the more jobs we create, the more we leave behind for our kids,” says Joe Budzienski.
